Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge consists of climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in less than 12 hours. The 25-mile circular route is a popular walk and thousands of visitors scale the peaks each year. The peaks form part of the Pennine range and are located within the Yorkshire Dales. Horton-in-Ribblesdale is a popular starting point for its parking, train station, pubs and Pen-y-ghent Café.
