Walking and Rambling in Jordans
If you're planning on staying at YHA Jordans, why not download a free map and get out exploring? All our self-guided walks start and end at a YHA hostel and are graded so that you can explore the area...
Tucked away in the beautiful Chiltern countryside, YHA Jordans is a small, cosy and traditional hostel - the perfect base for exploring London, Windsor and Oxford.
Welcoming solo guests, families with children and small groups, this historic gem is the oldest purpose-built youth hostel in England and Wales. It proudly retains its simple, traditional charm while offering comfort and warmth all year round.

This hostel is part of our Volunteer Managers programme. You can find out about becoming a Volunteer Manager and supporting our small hostels on our Volunteering site.
The youth hostel was built in 1932 and leased to YHA in 1933 by the Quaker Friends. YHA Jordans is set in beautiful wooded grounds with a patio area, picnic benches, BBQ and small fire pit.
Manager recommends: So much to do! Enjoy the thrills of Legoland Windsor, visit Bekonscot - the World's oldest model Village, explore the Roald Dahl museum or take a day trip to London. This is also a great base for visiting the Harry Potter Studio Tour.
