Following the Visit Wales Assessment a couple of weeks ago, YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass has been graded at four stars with a score of 86% (87% is five Star!). The assessor described the hostel as "exceptional, sympathetic, well planned and a fantastic asset". She was genuinely impressed, hugely so, by the Youth Hostel's transformation following its recent refurbishment. She had visited two months prior to the closure and knew of our plans to upgrade the hostel, but was bowled over at the extent of the transformation. She also mentioned the team here were exceptionally friendly, professional and suitably informal.
