How to get here

By car and coach: Do not go through the town centre. Follow the A30 and turn in at the Polgoon Vineyard and Castle Horneck signs. Take the left lane up to the hostel. Do not take the road with the cattle grid. YHA Penzance is the first building on the left. Take care and drive slowly up the last lane.

By foot: From the bus and the train stations it is approximately a 25 to 30-minute uphill 2km walk to the hostel. Walk through the town centre, turn right before the Pirate Pub and proceed up Castle Horneck Road. The A30 can get very busy so please take care when crossing. Continue up the hill following the left lane to the hostel. The final part of the route can be dark during winter, so bring a torch and take a taxi from the railway station if not sure.
