How to get here
By car: From Penrith and the M6 – take Exit 40 and follow A66. Follow road signposted for Portinscale, just west of Keswick junction. Follow the road through Portinscale continuing for approximately three miles following signs for Hawse End Centre. Pass the Derwentwater Marina and go straight on past two right hand signposts to Ullock and Stair. The turning to the centre is on the left directly opposite the Swinside Lodge Hotel. Hawse End Centre is well signposted - please do not follow the sat nav at this point. Continue along this drive along to Hawse End Centre - the cottage is further along the road.
