Mountain Day from YHA Patterdale

Overview

YHA are supporting OS National GetOutside day on 29th Sep 2019 with some free to join activities at selected hostels.

Mountain walking is a fantastic activity which involves walking both on and off paths and can take place in all seasons, through various landscapes and during whatever weather. You will have the opportunity to learn important skills including how to read a map, navigate and how to stay safe. Our informed and experienced instructors will tell you facts and historical information about the area as you walk and (weather permitting) you will see stunning scenery and enjoy panoramic views when you celebrate the achievement of reaching the top. Maximum number of people that can book is 8. 

Activities are suitable for ages 8 and up and children must be accompanied by an adult.
