Epping Forest

The Ancestor's Trail

Overview

The Ancestor's Trail is a shared walk across Epping Forest and part of Lee Valley. You can choose your walking distance from 3 to 12 miles with all the main routes starting from tube or train stations where you will be met by volunteer marshalls who will guide you along each trail. Refreshments are included when you arrive at YHA London Lee Valley - the finishing location of the walk. This is the ninth annual trail event and the event usually attracts well over 100 people. There is a wildlife theme with short verbal presentations and music as well as evening activities and Sunday morning lectures at the hostel.
