YHA Edale Activity Centre invites you and your group to try some of its most exciting activities for an adventure to remember in the great outdoors.
For outdoor adventures in the heart of the Peak District National Park, look no further than YHA Edale Activity Centre. This large country house, set in its own woodland/moorland grounds on the flanks of Kinder Scout, has a unique combination of wildness and accessibility.
All activities are provided by YHA Edale Activity Centre, Edale, Derbyshire, S33 7ZH.
On-site activities can include:
- Archery
- High ropes
- Orienteering
- Tower climb/abseil
- Team building exercises
- Hill walks/navigation challenges
- Fire lighting
- Shelter building
Off-site activities can include:
- Climbing
- Abseiling
- Canoeing
- Caving
- Raft-building
- Weaselling
What to expect
- Programmes include activities every morning, afternoon and evening.
- All programmes are bespoke to the needs of the group and devised in consultation with the group leaders.
- Free leader places at a 1:10 ratio.
- Free preliminary visits available to look at our facilities & talk with staff.
- We hold both an Adventurous Activities Licensing Service (AALS) license & a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.
