YHA National Office Bake Off

YHA National Office Bake Off

It's time for the Great British Bake Off once again and people up and down the country are donning their aprons and dusting off their mixing bowls. And none more so than the team at YHA National Office. The YHA National Office Bake Off was held on Monday 15th August with 18 entrees all lovingly created by YHA staff - with a little help from their families.

Joanne Shephard from Cake Creations in Nottinghamshire kindly volunteered her time to join us as our very own Mary Berry and cast her critical eye over our delicious buns.

YHA's FIRST Impact Review

YHA's FIRST Impact Review

YHA held the launch of their first Impact Review last week at Central Hall in Westminster. Because of YHA’s long and wonderful history it is hard to have a “first” because often things have been done before. Our CEO Caroline White can categorically say that this was YHA’s first Impact Review and the first such high profile political event YHA has hosted.

This is the first time that YHA has been able to demonstrably show the positive difference they make to the lives of our core beneficiaries – young people.

Take the Classroom to the Great British Outdoors

Let students escape the traditional classroom to enjoy the glorious countryside and who knows what it will bring out in them? Outdoor learning is a great way to inspire young people and it's fantastic for sparking their creativity and teaching them about their environment.

YHA Gets Festive at the Christmas Market

YHA staff from the National Office in Matlock recently volunteered to attend the Victorian Christmas Market in Hall Leys Park in the town to promote the charitable side of what YHA does.
