This is not Golf, this is Disc Golf!

This is not Golf, this is Disc Golf!

Originating across the pond in the USA in the late 1960s, Disc Golf might not be what you're imagining. Having little/nothing to do with Tiger Woods, the PGA Tour or a nine iron, Disc Golf is played by throwing a flying disc (or frisbee as they're more commonly known) into a metal target, instead of hitting a ball into a hole. The person who gets the disc from the tee to the basket in the fewest throws is the winner.

Decorated inside and outside on the extensive grounds of the Youth Hostel with giant chess pieces, lawn games like croquet and weird and unusual furniture, this large Georgian mansion made for an excellent setting for the weirdest and most wonderful event of the year.
