Happy Birthday to the Pennine Way - it's 50 years old today! The very first National Trail remains one of the most spectacular and well-loved of all the trails and it still attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year. Starting at Edale and ending at Kirk Yetholm on the Scottish Border, it stretches for 268 miles and can take around 16-19 days to walk in full.

Lights-off for Earth Hour 2015

Lights-off for Earth Hour 2015

Raising awareness doesn't have to cost the Earth. On the 28th of March at 8:30pm, millions of people across the globe will turn their lights and electricity off for one hour for Earth Hour 2015. In this cosy darkness, we'll raise awareness of climate change and think about how we can create a brighter future for our planet.
