I have a degree in media and communications from Cardiff University, which included a term studying abroad at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

I am passionate about the charity sector and volunteering, having undertaken several voluntary projects throughout my time at university and since graduating. These have included being a member of Cardiff University’s Volunteering Executive Committee, running an after-school homework club for primary school children, helping as a Customer Service Volunteer at the Wales Millennium Centre, and managing social media channels as Communications Executive at the South Wales-based charity, Dreams and Wishes.

I enjoy working collaboratively with others and am excited about being part of a charity that engages and inspires young people. I will bring enthusiasm and experience from previous and current volunteering roles to help support the work of YHA.

As part of the YHA Youth Advisory Team, I would like to contribute to ensuring that young people have the opportunity to impact on and influence decision-making. I hope to use my own experience to help shape how YHA engages young people and effectively supports their needs, values and experiences.

In my spare time, I am a keen walker and runner and enjoy exploring the canals and hills where I live on the edge of the Peak District.
