Where you'll sleep

Across the entire building there is a total of eight bedrooms.

First floor

One room that sleeps up to 3 people. It includes a single high-sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath.

One en-suite room that sleeps up to 5 people. It includes a single high-sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath and a set of bunk beds.

One room that sleeps up to 7 people. It includes a single high-sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath and 2 sets of bunk beds.

One room that sleeps up to 12 people. It includes 6 sets of bunk beds.

One room that sleeps up to 14 people. It includes 7 sets of bunk beds.

Second floor

One en-suite room that sleeps up to 4 people. It includes a double bed and 2 single beds.

Two rooms that sleep up to 5 people each. They include 2 sets of bunk beds and a single bed.

A cot is available.


Shared spaces

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: grill, iron and board, kettle, microwave, oven, refrigerator, stove, toaster, tumble dryer, washing machine, wood stove.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery for 42 people, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, bin bags, cloths, paper towels, soap, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the large dining room used to be the Great Hall of the manor. It seats up to 42 people across tables and chairs. There is also a soft seating area with a cofa and chairs.

Three highchairs are available.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the ground floor and seats up to 30 people. It has 4 comfy sofas, 10 chairs and several soft stools.

Bathrooms

Across the entire building there is a total of 11 bathrooms.

Showers: 11

Toilet paper is provided and hand soap is available next to all sinks.

Outdoors

Outside is a large garden. The garden is enclosed with a fence and has a gate.

Guests have full access to the garden.

Dogs
Hire YHA Wilderhope Manor and bring up to four dogs! Add a dog to your booking at the checkout and bring your four-legged friend along with you. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms, on the furniture or in the kitchen, and must be kept on a lead in the grounds.
Checking in
You will receive an email prior to your arrival with the property address and check-in instructions.
Guest access
Guest have use of the whole property, except the bar and commercial kitchen areas. The hostel manager lives onsite, in a separate building within the hostel grounds. This hostel is a National Trust building. National Trust members are permitted access to the building on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm all year and on Mondays from 2pm to 4pm, April to September.
