Five en-suite rooms that sleep up to 5 people each. They include 1 set of bunk beds and a high sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath.

First floor

Two en-suite rooms that sleep up to 5 people each. They include 1 set of bunk beds and a high sleeper bunk with a double bed underneath.

The small kitchen is located on the ground floor and includes a range of conveniences listed below.

Kitchen appliances: freezer, grill, kettle, microwave, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators, stove, toaster.

Kitchenware: dishes and cutlery for 56 people, kitchen utensils, pots, pans.

Cleaning basics: anti-bacterial spray, bin bags, cloths, paper towels, sponges, tea towels, washing up liquid.

Located on the ground floor, the dining room seats up to 56 people. There are 12 tables and chairs.

Two highchairs are available.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the ground floor and seats up to 12 people. There are soft seats and extra seating can be brought through from the dining room. You can relax in front of the TV after a day of exploring.

Dogs: Hire YHA Sherwood Forest and bring up to four dogs! Add a dog to your booking at the checkout and bring your four-legged friend along with you. Dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms, on the furniture, or in the kitchen, and must be kept on a lead in the grounds.
Important: Due to the proximity of this hostel to neighbours, it is not a suitable venue for loud music or noise after 23:00. Please minimise noise outdoors after 21:00

Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre – developed in partnership the RSPB – and majestic Major Oak are nearby, as well as the village of Edwinstowe. There are lots of routes for walking holidays and cycling holidays and several parks within easy reach, making the hostel ideal for family activity breaks. Reception opening hours: From 07:30 - 10:00 and 17:00 - 22:00.

Licensed bar: This hostel has a licensed bar offering a range of alcohol and soft drinks. It is not possible for guests to bring their own alcohol, except when hiring the whole hostel through YHA Exclusive Hire.

Self-catering: Guests have access to a self-catering kitchen.

Parking: There is parking at the hostel. The car park is controlled by an ANPR parking system. Upon arrival, motorists are required to validate their presence by entering their car's registration number at reception.

Special occasions: Due to the residential location of the hostel, YHA Sherwood Forest is not suitable for stag and hen parties.
