Description:
During the heyday of the Royal Navy’s presence in Portland, this early Edwardian building belonged to the First Admiral and was later used as the headquarters for the MOD police. It benefits from extensive views over Lyme Bay and is a good base to explore the island’s heritage, including Portland Castle and Portland Lighthouse. The Round Island Coastal Footpath will give you a good look at the flora and fauna, or visit Chesil beach or nearby Weymouth to enjoy its award-winning beaches.
