Description:

This charming archetypal Oast House offers small rooms and is ideal for families with plenty to do nearby. There are walks from the door in the country park opposite as well as a children's playground, visitor centre, fishing lake and orienteering. For the more adventurous there is a ski centre with dry slope and the country's longest toboggan run a few minutes walk away. Leeds Castle is just 20 minutes drive away and Rochester with its Cathedral, Norman castle and plenty of independent shops and restaurants is also within easy reach. There are numerous Charles Dickens connections in Rochester as well as the Dickens World theme park at Chatham. The Historic Dockyard gives a insight into our maritime history with ships and a submarine to explore as well as the RNLI and Kent Police museums. The excitement of London is just 40 minutes away with excellent rail links from Chatham station and YHA Medway is only minutes off the M2 giving good access to the motorway network and the Kent ports.
