This former water mill - built around 1600 - provides the perfect antidote to a day spent exploring Scarborough’s many attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Kinderland and Atlantis Water Park. Only two miles from the hectic town centre, its wooded riverside location attracts herons, foxes, kingfishers, deer and, occasionally, otters. This hostel has good facilities for children and is just 15 minutes’ walk from the sea, making it perfect for a traditional seaside holiday.
