How do you get to this Youth Hostel:
From Castleton, take the road to Hutton-le-Hole. After about 6 miles, turn right after the Lion Inn towards Farndale (via Blakey Bank) and follow the road into the hamlet of Church Houses. Turn right, then take the next right, opposite The Feversham Inn. The road is marked as a dead end and signposted Dale End only. Oak House is a mile along this road, on the right.
From Kirkbymoorside, head north to Gillamoor. Turn right and continue through the village and down a steep bank. Take the next left, signposted Farndale, carry on through the village of Low Mill to the hamlet of Church Houses, then follow the directions as above.
