Newport Access Statement

• From Fishguard follow the A487 towards Cardigan. From Cardigan follow the A487 towards Fishguard.
• Parking available at YHA Newport within the grounds.
• Two-storey building. Wheelchair access to ground floor level.
• Good colour contrast to floor, walls and doorways throughout.
• No smoking or pets (service dogs welcome)
• Disability awareness courses as part of the Welcome Host scheme are undertaken by all of our staff.
• No laundry facilities available at YHA Newport. Laundrette in Trefdraeth.
• Well-lit wide corridors.
• Volunteer wardens available through out night.
• Emergency lighting and fire alarms fitted.  We ensure that all guests are evacuated in the event of fire or any emergency requiring evacuation.
• Mobile phone reception is poor within immediate vicinity.
• Cardigan 15 miles, Fishguard 15 miles.
• Fishguard Railway station is the closest and takes about ½ hour by car.
