YHA Marloes Sands has exceptional sea views towards Skomer, Skokholm and Gateholm Island, and you can even walk out to Gateholm at low tide. The islands are also home to many reefs and wrecks making them a great place for divers to explore. A boat trip from Martin's Haven to see the gannet colony is a must.

YHA Marloes Sands Access Statement
Approached from the B3427 from Haverfordwest for 11 miles then turn right to Marloes. At the village church follow the Youth Hostel sign left down a long track. At the National Trust car park follow the hostel sign down a private track which is rough and uneven. Approximately 200 metres on is YHA Marloes Sands on the left-hand side. There is a farmyard car park with an even concrete flooring sloping slightly down to the property.
There are three main buildings at YHA Marloes Sands. There is a small sloping ramp to the approach of the “Piggery” – the lounge/dining/self-catering building which is then on one level inside. The “Cowshed”, with bedrooms and washrooms, has steps inside the entrance door and steps and stairs to reach the facilities and is unsuitable for those with mobility problems. The Farmhouse across the farmyard has a level concrete path approach and two steps leading into the porch (no handrails at either). The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs on the first floor. All facilities are on the level ground floor.
