How do you get to this Youth Hostel:
From Brecon or Abergavenny take the A40. Take the turn signed to Talybont on Usk. In the village turn right at the T junction then opposite the post office turn left over the canal bridge. Follow signs for Talybont resovoir, turn left onto the dam wall and then left to take the track to Danywenallt.

Bus information:
From Brecon or Abergavenny take the X43 bus (Monday to Saturday) and ask to be dropped off at the post office in Talybont on Usk. Follow the road directions on foot or opt for the bridle path (Taff trail). (contact the hostel for more precise directions or ask in the post office). Limited service on Sundays (Beacons Bus) during the summer only.

Train information:
Abergavenny (12 miles) connects with Shrewsbury and Birmingham to the North and Newport and Cardiff from the South. A 1/2 mile walk from the train station will bring you to the bus station.
