Enjoy a home-made evening meal from the excellent menu of freshly cooked local ingredients. Buffet breakfast is included in the overnight price and packed lunches are also available. YHA Danywenallt has a fantastic range of organic wines and interesting soft drinks for you to enjoy with your meal. Please note that the property does not have a self catering kitchen.

Access Statement

• Approached off A40 signposted Talybont-on-Usk. Turn right at the T junction in Talybont and then take the next left (opposite the post office) signposted to the reservoir. 1 ½ miles out of Talybont go through the village of Aber. 500Meters the other side take the left turn (between 2 stone walls signposted ‘Taff Trail’, this takes you across the dam wall. At the far side take the 1st left signposted Danywenallt Study Centre
• Ample parking and dropping off point for cars and minibuses (gravel)
• Steep sloped pathway with a paved surface to entrance
• Single storey annex (6 bedrooms), main house 2 storey, communal areas on ground floor (4 bedrooms on 1st floor)
• No toilet on the ground floor in the main house
• No smoking or pets (service dogs welcome)
• Disability awareness courses as part of the Welcome Host scheme are undertaken by all of our staff.
• An en-suite room with seat in shower (not roll in), toilet with rails, visual and vibrating linked fire alarm, assistance alert in bathroom and bedroom, single bed and bunk bed (3 persons) in annex bedroom.
• Emergency night staff on duty
• Emergency lighting and fire alarms fitted.  We ensure that all guests are evacuated in the event of fire or any emergency requiring evacuation.
• Mobile phone reception is poor within immediate vicinity (payphone for outgoing calls)
• Talybont 2 miles, Brecon 6 miles
