YHA Brecon is the perfect base to explore the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.  Try one of many great walks and cycle routes or go canoeing, sailing and Pony Trekking at Llangors Lake just 4 miles away.

The bustling market town of Brecon is just 3 miles away with quaint cobbled streets, imposing cathedral and lively farmer's market.

  There is an extensive menu cooked with the best ingredients, and local produce where possible.  Meals are served form 6 to 8 pm every night. 

For the more adventurous then Brecon is 40 minute walk away with few lively Pubs and two clubs.  If you just want a quick walk then The 3 Horseshoes inn in Groesfford www.threehorseshoesgroesffordd.co.uk is a 10 minutes walk away.
