Bangor

Bangor is the gateway to Snowdonia National Park and has all the amenities of a bustling University City with easy access to the castles of North Wales, stunning beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula and the National Park itself. It's a 15 minute walk into the town centre where you can visit the Cathedral, Art Gallery and Theatr Gwyned. You can enjoy crabbing from the Victorian Pier and the impressive Penryh Castle is a short hop away on the bus. Walkers and climbers will enjoy easy access to Snowdon, the Glyderau, Carneddau and the Idwal Slabs with low level walks at Betws y Coed, Anglesey, Aber and Swallow Falls. The gardens at Plas Newydd, Bodnant, yn Rhiw and Portmeirion also deserve attention. Bangor enjoys excellent  national transport links from Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Dublin while the City itself is a local transport hub making your visit here car free and easy.
