Weddings

Find the perfect venue for your big day, complete with great value accommodation.

Civil licences are held at four YHA sites in England and Wales, which have been handpicked for their suitability and stunning locations:

Hartington – a stunning 17th century manor house where Bonnie Prince Charlie once stayed and situated on the edge of a picturesque Derbyshire Peak District village.

Wilderhope – a 16th century Shropshire manor owned by the National Trust and complete with oak spiral staircases, paneled walls and a magnificent dining room.

Betws-Y-Coed – set within the complex of the Swallow Falls Hotel in this prime Welsh location, it offers use of the hotel’s facilities along with YHA accommodation so guests do not have to break the bank.

Pwll Deri - an idyllic cliff-top setting in Pembrokeshire makes the perfect location for your big day, with spectacular views and glorious sunsets.

YHA and the Civil Partnership Act

The Civil Partnership Act came into effect on 5 December 2005 and decreed that same-sex couples are able to register legally their civil partnership.

Since 5 December 2005, all premises approved for marriage were approved for hosting both civil partnerships and marriages.

As YHA seeks to help all without discrimination on the basis of age, race, gender, religious belief, social background or sexual orientation, we welcome enquiries from all couples.
