This popular and unique option invites you to book the whole of YHA Hartington Hall and its grounds for your own exclusive use for the whole weekend of your wedding. A fabulous country house, party atmosphere can be created where the ceremony, catering, and accommodation for all your guests are taken care of under one roof. The Hall is yours from 3pm on the Friday through to noon on the Sunday. The accommodation available amounts to 134 beds in 35 bedrooms, with 18 rooms fully en-suite. This includes 5 singles, 2 double, 5 twin and numerous family rooms. In addition, we have a luxury bridal suite ‘The Roost’.

Pricing is straight forward, with the package price inclusive of the hire of the Hall with a fixed cost for the accommodation and breakfast for all your guests. All catering is in-house and priced according to the number of guests and the food served. A full bar is available throughout your stay.

For the ‘Weekend Exclusive Package’ the booking must be for a minimum of 80 guests.

Option 2 - Day only weddings

If you wish to get married at the Hall without taking exclusive use then a day wedding might be ideal (subject to availability). We would suggest a mid-day ceremony followed by a champagne toast and a reception of your choice with departure around 5pm. We are able to accommodate up to 50 for a sit-down meal and up to around 60 for a hot carvery buffet, with a minimum of 30 eating.

It is possible for you to book the ceremony only.

Please note that there will be other guests using the Hall at this time and although we would endeavour to keep disturbance to a minimum we would not be able to guarantee this in any area other than the Entrance Hall and Dining Rooms.

Champagne, wines, beer, spirits and soft drinks are all available at very reasonable prices and a bar can be available throughout. May we remind you that all alcohol must be purchased from us direct. We regret that no bring-your-own or corkage is permitted.

A suggested timetable:

11.30am	Guests begin to arrive
11.30am	Bride and groom meet with registrar
12-noon	Civil marriage ceremony
12.30pm	Drinks reception with canapés and photographs on the lawn
1.30pm	Wedding breakfast is served
3.30 pm	Cake cutting
3.35pm	Speeches and toasts followed by coffee and cake
4.30-5pm	Guests depart Hartington Hall

Guests are welcome to book overnight accommodation at the usual rates on a B&B basis as a minimum. Single, double, twin and family rooms, most fully en-suite, are all available, but early booking is essential. Please remember that when the non-exclusive wedding option is taken then you will be sharing the site with other guests.

Unfortunately, we are generally unable to accept Saturday ‘Day-Only’ bookings due to our existing weekend trade.
