Housed in a beautiful Edwardian property, YHA Salcombe sits above the Salcombe Estuary with a fantastic view over the National Trust gardens of Overbecks.  With a sandy beach at the bottom of the drive and the South West coast path at the top, YHA Salcombe is ideally located for an action-packed holiday. Try sailing, body boarding, surfing, kayaking and more, or explore the local fishing villages and multitude of gardens, museums and historical sites in the area. In the evening relax in one of YHA Salcombe's sea-facing lounges after a meal in the wood-panelled dining room, originally a 1920s billiards room.

Open five days each week November - February.

Reception Open:
08.00 - 10.00 hrs
17.00 - 22.30 hrs

There is 24 hour access once registration is completed (registration is only available during reception opening hours).

Need to know:

Parking and check-in from 5pm only (car park shared with National Trust who have sole use between 10am and 5pm). Half-price entry to Overbecks Gardens for YHA guests (no access from 5pm). Nearest coach drop-off point is 2 miles away – groups should contact YHA Salcombe for details of a local minibus company.
