Exford - Local Info
Exmoor has released it's own currency, the "Groat", to help promote the area and help you beat the credit crunch. You can download your Groat for free online at www.exmoor.com/groats and use it to enjoy a free breakfast at YHA Exford during April. View more information.
YHA Exford prides itself on a warm welcome and good home made meals using local suppliers. Breakfasts and evening meals are being served over a longer time period and healthy kids meals are also on offer. The property now holds a drinks license and locally brewed beers and wines are available. Please note that you are now no longer allowed to bring your own bottle.
There is camping (enough for 4 tents), new menus and new activity weekends. YHA Exford is now taking part in Learn 4 real and is working in partnership with Wimbleball lake. Visit www.yhaschooltrips.co.uk to view the three packages that are available. Group bookings are now being taken for late 2009 and into 2010
