Walking route from Box Hill and Westhumble train station, it is recommended to have a map for this route: turn left out of station and follow road to Badgen Farm, take the track on the left indicated by a YHA sign. Pass the farmhouse on your right hand side and take the first right along a bridleway by the side of a barn. Walk straight across the field to the gate on the other side and turn left onto the track. The hostel is approx 75 metres up on the right hand side. By car: From A24 in Dorking, take the A2003 Ashcombe Road and turn right at the T-junction towards Ranmore and Effingham. At the top of the hill is Denbies Hillside National Trust car park, the nearest car park to the hostel – free to National Trust members or £2.50 per calendar day.
