Eastbourne offers plenty of things to do for all ages. There’s the famous pier, bandstand and promenade, sandy beaches, walking and cycling on the South Downs Way and a huge array of tourist attractions.
The seafront at Eastbourne stretches from Beachy Head to the award winning Sovereign Harbour, with clean and family friendly beaches, water sports and activities available.
Eastbourne is located at the foot of the South Downs, with the South Downs Way – a 100 mile trail for walkers, cyclists and horse riders – stretching from Eastbourne to Winchester.
If you’re looking for history and culture, Eastbourne has 1066 heritage, military forts, art galleries, historic houses and museums to explore.
There’s a wide selection of theatres if you fancy taking in a show and the Glyndbourne Opera House is also worth a visit.
If you want to branch out and venture further a field then there are many attractive coastal and countryside locations within easy reach including Alfriston, Arundel, Hastings and Brighton for those looking for somewhere a bit more lively.
