Set amidst beautiful countryside on the doorstep of the North Downs Way National Trail and five miles from Guildford and the River Wey, this environmentally friendly camping barn in the village of Puttenham boasts excellent kitchen facilities, solar panels and a rainwater harvesting scheme. The barn is excellent for walkers and cyclists, with Sustrans cycle route 22 passing the door and a cycle store at the barn. Attractions like the Watts Gallery in Compton are less than two miles away. Puttenham village is an ideal base for exploring the Surrey Hills. Prior booking is essential and there is no motor access, even for off-loading.
Sole occupancy is available by arrangement - in this case the warden is still in residence and the barn is closed in the daytime between 10am and 5pm.
Optional extras - Sleeping bag hire £3 per stay (includes freshly laundered inner sheet liner).
