A study of water and the processes involved in the formation of landscapes by rivers and streams. The programme is composed of 2 elements, either of which can also be booked as a half day activity.
Rocks and Soils (KS2), 1/2 Day

Geographical enquiry and skills, knowledge and understanding
By using simple fieldwork techniques and examples, the children learn how soil is formed and what it is made of. Emphasis is placed on the important role of soils in carbon storage and, therefore their impact on climate change.

An opportunity for the children to gain an understanding of the natural world. Art in the Park is an artistic adventure which explores environmental issues and concerns and promotes individual responsibility and team work
