There is one pub in the village, tea rooms, also a general store which stays open till 9pm. For people interested in the history of the village there is a museum about the plague.

The hostel is available for exclusive bookings for reunions, parties and other celebrations - please email the hostel with your requirements and we will be happy to advise on availability and costs.

Exclusive use of all facilities is available at all times depending on reservations already received. Prices from £50 per person for two nights Bed+Breakfast+evening meal. Please note that we do not rent the hostel out on a self catering basis as the facilities are not suitable.
