Castleton

How do you get to this Youth Hostel:
From Sheffield, take the A625 all the way to Castleton. Once in village turn left (at the Castle Hotel), up Castle Street, into Market Place and YHA Castleton is on the right at the base of Peveril Castle. From Manchester, take the A625 to Winnats Pass. Drive into the village, and turn right at the Castle Hotel, as above. Please note this route is not suitable for large vehicles due to steepness of Winnats Pass, follow signs for alternative route to Castleton and then directions above.

Bus information:
Mainline/Stagecoach East Midland 272/4 from Sheffield (pass BR Hope). Buses run every hour. The journey from Sheffield is approximately 1 hour.

The nearest train station is Hope. (3 miles) This train station is on the Sheffield-Manchester Main line. Trains run every hour.
