This small property offers a quiet retreat. Originally a 17th century lead miner’s cottage, it stands in the peaceful valley of Mohope Burn in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walkers can explore secluded countryside and wild moorland, both of which are rich in wildlife, flora, fauna and industrial archaeology. YHA Ninebanks is also near the C2C cycle route and close to Killhope lead mining centre, the A686 (England’s most scenic road) and Isaac’s Tea Trail.
