Walking, climbing, mountain biking, bird watching, stargazing, wildlife and archaeology will keep you entertained for days. If you like horse riding, the Cheviot Challenge and Southern Uplands routes are nearby and for walkers the Pennine Way is just half a mile away and St Cuthberts Way only four miles.
