Langdon Beck - Local Info
YHA Langdon Beck has a host of environmental features and activities, including nature watching and conservation weekends. It is surrounded by protected hay meadows in a beautiful and remote location at the heart of the North Pennines AONB, and is England's highest Youth Hostel. Close to the Cow Green Nature Reserve, and the Killhope Lead Mining Centre, and with excellent cycling and walking in the area this is a great location for an active family weekend. There are magnificent views and walks in every direction-to High Force or Cauldron Snout waterfalls or along a section of the Pennine Way.
