Description:

This unique, eco-friendly stone building offers three-star guest accommodation in the heart of the Northumberland National Park. Located just 200 yards from Hadrian’s Wall, it provides an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful scenery and historic sites and is ideal for walkers and cyclists.  Drivers can leave their car at the property and make use of the Hadrian’s Wall bus service, which calls at all the main Roman sites and passes right by the door, or lifts can be arranged to your walking point. If you want to travel further a field, the Lake District and Kielder Reservoir are within easy reach as are the market towns of Hexham and Haltwhistle. The property itself makes extensive use of ‘green’ technology including geothermal heating and wood burning stoves with water provided from a private source for domestic usage. There is a licensed bar and café facilities and packed lunches, lunch and dinner can be provided.
