Oliver!

12 December 2008 to 26 September 2009
Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London

Lionel Bart's musical Oliver! returns to the West End this December for a much-anticipated revival of the classic Victorian novel.

Two of the show's lead roles were cast in BBC reality TV series I'd Do Anything, with 28-year-old Jodie Prenger voted to appear as Nancy.

The part of Oliver will be played by a trio of alternating actors - 11-year-old Gwion Jones; Harry Stott, aged 12; and Laurence Jeffcoate, 11 - while Rowan Atkinson will also feature in the role of Fagin.

With a cast and orchestra of more than 100, the extravagant stage-show includes memorable Bart songs such as I'd Do Anything, Food Glorious Food and You've Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two.

The first performance takes place on December 12th, 2008 and the show will run until September 26th, 2009. Tickets can be purchased online here, with prices ranging from £17.50 to £60, plus booking fee.

YHA London Oxford Street is conveniently located about a mile away from Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
