Bath Christmas Market 2008

The heritage city of Bath is transformed into a magical winter wonderland during its annual Christmas market.

The area between Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths becomes packed with more than 100 traditional wooden chalets selling every kind of gift, decoration and food imaginable.

The abbey plays host to a number of Christmas services and entertainment among the stalls includes carol singers, children’s entertainers and musicians to create a truly festive atmosphere.

Three specially created performance areas allow an escape from the crowds to enjoy the entertainment, whilst children will love the Victorian Galloper Carousel.

Festive food and drink will also be on offer, with the opportunity to sip mulled wine, munch on minced pies and sample delicacies from around the world.
