A peaceful coastal town in Suffolk plays host to a series of beautiful musical evenings this summer.
Snape Proms is held at Benjamin Britten’s magical performance venue and offers something to suit all tastes.
Opera, jazz, blues, brass and steel bands, piano recitals and orchestral concerts all feature throughout the month, while a taste of comedy and poetry will also play a part.
Performances will include the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the London Community Gospel Choir and Mayra Andrade, winner of best newcomer at the 2008 Radio 3 World Music Awards, as well as many others.
Ticket prices vary between concerts and can be booked online at www.aldeburgh.co.uk, where a full programme can also be found.
