One of Shakespeare's classic plays is heading to York this summer.
Between August 27th and 29th, the Lord Chamberlain's Men will bring Much Ado About Nothing to the walled city.
The troupe recently treated theatre fans in York with its production of Romeo and Juliet.
Much Ado About Nothing will be performed in the city centre-based Museum Gardens, giving fans of the play the chance to enjoy the comedy in the summer sun.
The play tells the story of "the dashing soldier" Claudio and young Hero, who experience love at first sight and get married.
In contrast, singletons Beatrice and Benedick will entertain the audience with their "verbal sparring" before resigning themselves to a happy ending.
YHA York is located one mile (about three minutes) from Museum Gardens, making it a convenient overnight stay for those visiting the city for the play.
Tickets for the play will cost £7.50 for children and £14.50 for adults and can be purchased online here.
