Guests now have a wider choice of stunning properties in more fantastic locations thanks to the YHA Enterprise scheme.
The past year has seen rapid growth in the scheme which allows YHA to add more superb locations to its network while also offering profile and the YHA brand to accommodation providers.
Excellent bunkhouses have been added at All Stretton and Sheen in the Midlands, Portreath in the South West and Llangattock Mountain and Ffynnon Wen in Wales.
Adrenalin junkies now have even more choice with the addition of YHA’s first dedicated activity centre in Wales, YHA Anglesey Outdoors, and YHA Mount Batten, a specialist water-sports centre in Devon.
In South Wales, accommodation for groups has also been created thanks to a ground-breaking partnership with Swansea Council, creating YHA Gower, YHA Rhosilli and YHA Swansea.
YHA Steps Bridge Bunkhouse, YHA Blackboys Bunkhouse, YHA Byrness, YHA Greenhead, YHA Wooler, YHA Elmscott and YHA Kirkby Stephen have all remained in the network thanks to Enterprise following auctions last year.
There are now around 30 existing Enterprise partnership arrangements with various organisations, including other charities like the YMCA, local councils and private providers.
