We have in place our strategic plan and a vision to reach out and enhance the lives of all young people. 2010 is our 80th anniversary and marks our determination to make YHA as relevant to young people today as YHA was when it was first established in 1930.
Trustees play a key role in this, engaging with strategic planning, determining key policies and approving the services YHA provides, at the same time ensuring that YHA’s financial resources are adequate and that risks are properly managed. The Board provides leadership to YHA and this booklet will help you understand more about YHA and what YHA is looking for from trustees.
