BBC Breakfast News was at FAB camp this morning, interviewing and filming families enjoying their time together. Family Activity Breaks were designed by the Ministry of Defence and partnered by YHA for families who have lost a member of their family whilst serving in the armed forces. The camps are for families to have the opportunity to get away, meet other families and friends in similar positions and to reconnect as a family after their loss.
BBC News was at one of the FAB camps in Coverack, with other camps being held in Conwy and Whitby over the next few weeks. Families are partaking in fun activities like abseiling, canoeing, horse riding and team building.
