The Great Wall Challenge is a nine day event, trekking over watch towers and battlements and conquering the 1,000 steps at Mutinayu.  The trek brings you to Shixiaguan, where you will 'lend a hand' repairing a watch tower on the wall - ensuring your place in the history of the wall.  The challenge is demanding but very rewarding, offering fabulous scenery, unequalled views of the Great Wall and a fascinating insight into a rich culture and history.
