Perched high on a cliff on the Pembrokeshire coast, the quaint and remote YHA Pwll Deri is a spectacular location for a short break.
But being exposed to the elements and westerly gales has taken its toll on this popular Welsh hostel and now its time to take action to ward off the weather.
As part of our ongoing investment programme, improvements costing around £200,000 are required to bring the converted cottage up to scratch and YHA has already pledged most of this amount.
But we need your help to make up the difference and that’s why our 2007/08 winter appeal is dedicated to raising funds to upgrade the facilities.
Last year’s appeal for YHA Ennerdale and YHA Black Sail was a huge success. The modernisation project at Ennerdale is already complete and work is due to get under way at Black Sail in the winter.
By giving money to this year’s YHA Pwll Deri Appeal you can improve and preserve another beautiful small hostel, allowing future generations to enjoy its lofty position, cosy log fire and unrivalled views of the Irish Sea for many years to come.
If you can spare any amount for this worthy cause then please give generously.
