There’s lots of ways to support YHA. As a charity all the money we make is put back into the business enabling us to give more experiences to more people. We run a number of Supporter’s Days where we thank our members for their support and tell them how they have helped. People help YHA in many ways – volunteering is a key way to help, people also give generously to our fundraising appeals, take part in challenges such as the London Marathon and leave us gifts in their wills. Without the support of people like you YHA would struggle to provide the services and opportunities currently available. Wilderhope hostel in Shropshire was given to the National Trust to be used as a Youth Hostel and now, many years later, our members are supporting vital work that’s needed there by donating to our latest appeal. YHA has always offered opportunities to young people, encouraging them to do something different, try something new, be brave and grow. We run a fund called Breaks 4 Kids which helps young people take part in residential trips which they could not afford without help.
