Breaks 4 Kids is a scheme which helps to fund places for disadvantaged children to join their friends or classmates on residential visits with YHA.
YHA contributes up to 50% of the cost of accommodation and food for children from low-income households on trips with school or other youth groups, so that no one is left behind.
These visits help to broaden their horizons, improve their communication skills, and build confidence and self-esteem.
Funding for Breaks 4 Kids comes from a variety of sources. Corporate sponsors provide support through donations and fundraising and individual contributions all help to give children this great opportunity.
